Welcome to Local Lodge 18.
IAM Local Lodge 18 services nearly 600 members in the governmental aerospace industry in the Meridian, Mississippi area. We are committed to supporting our members labor needs and the needs of our community.
IAM Local Lodge 18, chartered on May 1, 1999 with almost 100 members. Currently that number has reached nearly 600 members. We work on contracts that service the United States Navy T45C “Goshawk” training aircraft. Our members service all aspects of the T45 training system. That includes, the aircraft itself, the aircraft engines, ground support equipment, flight simulators, as well as operate fueling vehicles and systems. There are currently 84 aircraft assigned to Training Air Wing One.
Local Lodge 18 also has 3 members at two other sites in or near Meridian. One member at ANG Base at Key Field that works on the flight simulator for the CH-47 and 2 other members in Jackson, MS at the ANG Base that work on the C-12 aircraft.
